Program Coordinator

Triathlon Alberta is the governing body for triathlon and multisport in the province of Alberta. 

Triathlon Alberta is looking for a Sport Development Coordinator. This is a part-time position (20 hours / week). The position will be based in Edmonton, AB and will be on a 1 year contract with the possibility of extension.   

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead coordinator for AG programming. 

  • Lead coordinator for Mad Moto events.

  • Working in conjunction with Triathlon Alberta’s Technical working group on event sanctioning.

  • Working in conjunction with Triathlon Alberta’s Technical working group to put on officiating courses.

  • Being the lead coordinator for coaching courses throughout the province.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Project management and program delivery will be considered an asset

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to manage and prioritize tasks.

  • Computer skills in MS Office and Google are required.

  • Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

  • Vulnerable sector check
