Triathlon Alberta Mad Moto Series - Calgary

OVERVIEW

Welcome to the Triathlon Alberta Mad Moto Series!

What is a Mad Moto...?  Mad Moto events are a Provincial Sport Organization-led initiative meant to provide short, fast, exciting Triathlon racing opportunities that have a small geographic footprint.

In 2021, Triathlon Alberta, in partnership with Jumpstart and Makadiff Sports, has designed an exciting mid-week community Aquathlon event (Swimming & Running) right in your back yard Calgary!

Calgary 2021 Mad Motos Events, hosted at the Glenmore Athletic Park include a Women's-Only-Event on August 4th and an Open Entry Event on August 11th.

This low-cost community event does not include prizing.  The challenge, accomplishment, and your recorded time is your well-deserved prize!

PURPOSE

The Calgary Mad Moto Events will offer Calgarians (aged 12+) an inclusive outdoor recreation opportunity, with a chance to discover or try out the sport of triathlon or sharpen their already developed skills!

Triathlon Alberta-led events are meant to encourage increased participation in triathlon and multisport events.  These events are aerobic sport training opportunities that add to the health and wellbeing of Albertans.  Provincial Sport Organisation-led mini-series events are a safe and fun way for Albertans to connect, socialize and enjoy both the health benefits of cardiovascular exercise and a collegiate atmosphere with other athletes in a low-pressure fun racing environment!  Register today!
