The City of Swift Current will host the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games from August 9 to 18, 2019. Featuring 16 sports, over 20 venues, and a range of cultural performances and programs, the Games will be the largest event to ever take place in the region. Over 1,700 athletes, coaches, officials and mission staff from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut will participate in the 10 days of competition. These athletes, aged 13 to 20 years old, are our country’s next generation of national, international, Olympic, and Paralympic champions.
